I bought a Rocky Road apple with caramel, pecans, marshmallows and dark chocolate. And an Extreme II apple with cashews, pecans, and almonds. Oh, and the best English Toffee and chocolate-covered almonds. Yum!
I just finished reading

by Isabel Fonseca. I couldn't put it down, but have mixed feelings about it. It's the story of a woman who discovers her husband is having an affair and begins an email correspondence with his mistress. She makes many questionable decisions about how to handle her husband's infidelity, and the thing that bothered me is that there was no glimpse of any inner conflict or explanation for why she made the decisions that she did. But it was a page turner and I enjoyed the way the author writes.
Today at the grocery store I picked up Glamour magazine to read the interview with Michelle Obama, whom I admire very much. She's so genuine and down-to-earth. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet-- maybe tomorrow on my lunch hour.
I finished knitting my second slipper, so now both of my feet are warm! (Okay, this is the third post about my slippers, I promise not to mention them again for a long time.)
Good night!

You made me want that apple this early? Hey, you can post about those slippers again, it is fine with me... 'cause I LOVE them::) Have a blessed day!
I love your slippers! However i don't like chocolate!! I think i am the only person i know who doesn't, call me weird if you like, most people do!!!! x x x
Wow, that apple has my stomach gurgling!
Oh dear, how can I NOT love a post titled "Chocolate". My mouth is watering!
The book sounds intriguing; I may look for this one then we can have our own little 'book club' online. And I like Michelle Obama, too. She is a strong, smart woman with her own personality, separate from her husband's position.
I ♥ your slippers. You can post about them all you want! I think I might actually try your pattern (I might need some guidance on this one).
Have a great day, Stacy!
Well, you'll have to post about your slippers at least one more time -0- when you wear holes in them and have to knit their replacements. That apple looks divine. I went to our local candy shop to pick one up, but just couldn't bring myself to pay the 20 smackers that they wanted for their "gourmet" apple!
I am loving the way you are treating yourself. Good for you. Being good to yourself is so important and taking the time to do it! Your annual trip to the candy store, reading the book and having you very own opinion on it, the magazine to read about our lovely First Lady and another pair of cozy slippers for you feet...all good things.
Hey, go for it...do a fourth post on you slippers if you want to.
Not long until New Moon!
Hugs, Dogwood
Lovin' the slippers ;) We'll have to talk more about the trade after the holidays. :)
And that apple?? That is just soooooo wrong on all levels but looks soooooo tasty!
Hi Stacy,
You are cracking me up about your slippers :) Glad you finished the second one and that your feet are warm and cozy!!
Ohh...those carmel/chocolate apples look like a piece of heaven!!!YUMMY!!! Makes me want some yummy chocolate from that store.
I still haven't started my ATC for his month. I have an idea...just haven't sat down and played.
Warmly,
Deb :)
Love the apple...love the slippers...I'll skip the book and magazine...but that clock!

Scrumptious! Two warm feet are much better than one! The slippers look very cozy.

I love your slippers!! When I have finished the blanket I am crocheting, I am going to learn to knit with the help of youtube.
Sorry it has been so long since I commented, life has been quite hectic around here. xxx
Hi, I'm back to say that I love your slipper so much - I really like them as Christmas gifts and filled with little gifts. I've featured them in my list of things to do in December on my blog : )
